Genre: Informational book
Medium: Pictures
This book is all about bridges, all over the world. There are pictures of the bridge, and then there is information about when it was built and why. The book starts out by describing why bridges are important, and the book then talks about the different types of bridges. This would be a great book to use in the classroom when talking about an engineering unit. I also like how this book talks about bridges all over the world, because it shows students that these are relevant to people the rest of the world, other than just what the students have experienced. This is great example of an informational book, because it is factual, but it's interesting enough to keep a students attention.
