Taboo but not

I wasn't sure if I would like this book based on the blurb but it was tasteful and of course has a HEA.

It is a bit out there but it could happen in RL.

Josh n Charlie's story is well written, intriguing start to and series. ( )

Charlie and Josh are brothers. Both have gotten involved with jerks. They comfort each other at times and forbidden feelings arise. Then their parents drop a bombshell on them. Their dad walks in on them giving each other comfort and more secrets are revealed. Then things get nasty because of the jerks. Josh and Charlie have a hard road to follow. Can they do it? Will all these secrets break up the family?

I liked this story. I liked Josh and Charlie. They are opposites but their strengths and weaknesses mesh well. I liked their real friends who give support and aid. As the story unfolds, they do ask their close friends to accept on faith what is occurring will work out and they will explain. The villains get what they deserve. Josh, Charlie, and their parents learn how serious the repercussions from keeping secrets are. I look forward to more of this series. ( )
