She can cover multiple genres without even taking a breath. :) This is most definitely a romantic suspense. A real who dun it. Or in this case, who is doing it. I've got the next 5 ready to read. These books can not be put down so make sure you allow yourself a nice long rainy day. Enjoy! Cilla received threating calls. Cilla is pretty clueless about how the men at the station feel about her. The station calls the police. One of the detectives is a handsome man with family money. Of course he falls in love with Cella and wants to marry her. Cilla doesn't want to get involved with a cop. We find out why as the story goes on. A predictable romantic thriller. Cilla O'Roarke works the night shift as a DJ. She takes requests late at night but one night her calm is rocked when she receives a threat. Detective Boyd Fletcher comes into her life to investigate and finds that behind her voice (that he has admired for years) he has found a woman that he likes. Yeah, it's pretty typical Nora Roberts, but as usual for her I find them very readable. The characters came to life for me and I was greatly entertained by them and the resolution satisfied. no reviews | add a review

Cilla O'Roarke's voice breaks the darkened, early a.m. silence, connecting with the lost and lonely listeners who tune in and hang on every word she whispers. Admiring, awkward callers come with the territory, but the man threatening to kill her rings in every night, relentless in his cruelty. Assigned to protect Cilla, Detective Boyd Fletcher meets a strong-willed woman who's suspicious of cops, but willing to accept his help. Now, together in close quarters, Cilla and Boyd find their growing mutual desire undeniable-even as a predator moves ever closer for the kill. No library descriptions found. |
