This book is a set of two short stories about sisters. The first one was a love story full of danger to those involved. A stalker hunts down the leading lady for breaking the heart of his friend many years ago, the leading man is the policeman who keeps her safe. The second story I found a little bit cheesy even if enjoyable. It was a "superhero" story, think batman with x-men abilities. It was a good story but not exactly what I expected. A nice easy read for both stories, just not really enough to get very attached to the characters.
Good not great. Fairly typical contemporary romance.
Both nice equal parts romance and mysteries almost solvable. Night Shift has Cillia as a late night radio host, sexy voice causing male listeners to want her. Cop Boyd is assigned to find latest stalker. Her past with a former Mom as former Cop makes her hesitant to get emotionally involved. Night Shadow: Other than a couple pages, there is little follow through from first book. Her sister, Cilla has finished law school, now top DA in another city. Saved by a Batman type guy, Nemesis, she is torn between happy with his results but not his no help from police style. Falls for rich guy, Gage, a former policeman. Sexual attraction for guys creates story. Celia resists help yet needs it from Gage/Nemesis.
