Creation: The Picture Bible for All Ages (Volume 1, Genesis 1 to Exodus 19)

This book is volume one of the six volumes of The Picture Bible for All Ages. This is a compilations of Bible stories from the Sunday school take-home paper Sunday Pix put out by David C. Cook Publishing Company. Even though my family's church did not give out these papers, a lady in the neighborhood got them for her church and she bought an extra set for my family. So every quarter, I would pedal my bicycle over to her house to pick up the set. My sister, my brother, and I have all said that our thorough understanding of the Bible has come from reading these papers.

These strength of these stories was the thoroughness and accuracy in the telling of the story and also that they were in color. So I was delighted when I saw this six set show more volume for sale. These are the unabridged stories from the Sunday papers. The definite drawback to this set is that the drawings are not in color. This was partially made up for by the one volume The Picture Bible that later came out. However, The Picture Bible, though in color, was abridged by a third, by my estimate. show less
