Unemployed since June of 2001, Odd Todd now spends his time watching TV, taking powernaps, spacing out, snacking, updating his Web site daily, and doing....stuff. THEODDTODDHANDBOOK is chock full of ways to spend time when you can't spend any mon-ay. Back in the early 2000s, when the dot-com bubble burst, before the days of YouTube, there was a recently laid-off man making flash animations with all his new free time. These animations featured advice on what to do now that you too had been laid-off (or had no job to start with). This was Odd Todd.

Here we have the print version of these flash animations (minus the epic Flash Gordon episode, which was my favorite, and is surely missing due to copyright). Follow Todd through his day of doing nothing, from the time he wakes up in the morning to the time he goes to bed and is pestered by the nagging negative thoughts of Yapper into the wee hours of the next morning. You'll learn

-How to deal with having little to no mon-ay
-The joys of coff-ay
-The best ways to nap
-What to do when you find yourself inevitably outside
-And oh, so much more!

This is probably the third time I've read through this book over the years, and I always find it enjoyable. ( )

A distillation of all of Todd's great cartoons - of course with the book you don't get the voice, but you will get lots of ideas to help you fill your newly-emptied days. ( )
