These novellas are perfect for those who don't have a lot of time for actual reading (I mostly listen to audiobooks these days). Each episode is a complete story by itself but they follow on from each other so really need to be read in order. The first introduced the main characters who continue with their investigation in this second book. While there is some action and mystery I didn't feel there was the same connection between Jane & Rob as there was in the first, but maybe that's just me.
Looking forward to the 3rd book set in Miami.

The story continues as crime reporter Jane Cole and NYPD cop Robert Warren investigate the assassination of a former VP in Washington.
An intersting story which must be read in order, and not as a standalone
