Description

This starts with an assassin meet-cute. I mean...
Amusing, terrifyingly competent AI. Snarky mystery assassin MC. Terrible thief love-interest--target? At 16% in, a very clever and interesting backstory delivery.
At 59%, I can't guess what's next. Do you know how unusual that is after decades of reading?
Now I'm done, and I've read the author's note about how his books are all linked. Potential other books, that's always cool. The sequel to this one will be called Khaos, and yep. I'll be reading it.
If you are in the mood for humor, weird powers and a mysterious past, killing to survive, and never knowing what's coming next, this is your novel. It's funny and intense and satisfying--an unusual combination.
