Germany, late summer 1945 - The war is over but the country is in ruins. Millions of refugees and holocaust survivors strive to rebuild their lives in displaced persons camps. Intriguing proposition, based on some known facts and key players, posits Hitler might have escaped his bunker. Tom Wilde, Cambridge academic and former WW2 OSS member is persuaded to try and track down if Hitler did escape and if so where is most likely. A plot peopled with real characters like Walter Schellenberg, famous for his liaison with Coco Chanel, Bill Donovan and Allen Dulles.
