- For 2-5th grade
- I would use this book in my class absolutely. I think this book does a great job about discussing what people with autism struggle with, are good at, and how we can better understand them. Of course this is different for everyone but i think it does a great job talking about it in an understandable and engaging way.

Elementary School
This story is about a boy named Zen who has autism. Through this story we get to know a lot about autism and how different people have it and how they all react differently with it to certain things!
This story is a good read that you can use to help teach kids about autism.

This series is very negative and problematic. We find these children with names and a picture in the back, still explaining the generalized difficulty of their autism. While it is intended to help start a conversation with a neurotypical kid who is not being inclusive of their disabled peers, I hate how many probles this child has, with very little balance of where they find joy or how they expereince their lives in ways that would be familiar to other kids.
There are better books, though not many. ( )
