I absolutely loved this book!

It's an interesting entry in the noir genre, with some Lovecraftian near-scifi: a pot-smoking jazz-jamming protagonist chasing a twin, a girl and a nice little mystery. There's some good WWII history to motivate the story.

There are some great supporting characters that move things along nicely.

Most of all, the twists and turns kept me guessing to the final pages about how things would come out.

Really surprising debut novel. I hope to read more! ( )
