Irishmen are my fantasy and Spider fills the bill. This yummy man is sex-on-a-stick and what a big stick it is. His possessive and intense nature is so captivating and Reyna is one lucky woman to have it directed at her. Not that Reyna doesn't give off her own dangerous and sensual vibes the minute they set eyes on each other. It's a match made in Mob and Mafia heaven that kept this reader up all night getting to the oh-so-dirty and satisfying finale.

Reyna has had such a violent and horrifying introduction to marriage it's no wonder she never wants that again. But she cannot contain the love-hate relationship she has with the forbidden man who is betrothed to her beloved niece. She would do anything for her niece...even marry her show more archenemy to save her.

Spider's arranged marriage to the young mafia princess is the least he could do for the Irish Mob. He's marrying a stranger with a slimy father and an aunt they call the Black Widow. The father he can handle, but the aunt is another story. He needs to stay far away from her tempting body and quick wit.

God, I love Reyna and Spider. Their snarky banter and sexual chemistry are off the charts from the very beginning. I was having a cow about how the whole marriage to Reyna's niece, Lili, was going to pan out until fate jumps in and the wedding of the century had me laughing out loud at Spider's impatience and Reyna's complete shock at what she was doing. Their honeymoon is HOT as they get to know each other's bodies and minds. Spider's protectiveness of Reyna is so romantic and he really comes through as a great guy with Lili's delicate situation. Spider falls quickly, but with his charm and patience, he wins the reticent Queen Reyna over which is a sight to see. Reyna is a complete badass and she is rewarded for her strength and intelligence by the Mafia in the most surprising way ever. And what an excellent equal she has with an intense Irishman by her side.

This book is an enjoyable journey with two enemies with benefits. I guarantee you will laugh, cry, and cheer for the best damn duo I've enjoyed in a very long time. Where has this author been all my life? I'm going to read the hell of this series and beyond.

Thank you to Ms. Geissinger for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

5 Stars.

I don't know if this or the first one is my favorite of this series.
But I absolutely LOVED this story!

Reyna is AMAZING
Smart and tough as nails.

Spyder stole my heart. He really shines in this one.

It starts off with action and suspense from nearly page one.
About half way through we get the Steamiest of steam and Oh My God! Spyder is so romantic and sweet yet strong and totally a 'Stand Up Guy'.
He broke my heart with his pain.

So much I could say. But really the bottom line is....
It's a FanFreakingTastic story with absolutely awesome mc's and storyline.

I highly recommend it and I am definitely going to be Stalking this author.

This was a little bittersweet. I've loved these interconnected books. The author has done a great job creating a world that is intense and suspense driven while also adding in white hot chemistry and incredible banter.

While I liked this one, there were areas that just didn't gel with me the way that I was wanting. However, I put those things aside because I wanted to see how this was all going to conclude and to see my old favorites in cameo roles.
Spider is part of the Irish mob (see book 2 in this series), and an alliance with the Mafia is needed, so he agrees to marry Lili, even if he's more attracted to her Aunt Reyna. Circumstances make it so that he ends up with who he wants, even if Reyna isn't who he needs. But they both have a dark past and bond over it along with their banter and hotness connection. Great entry in a strong series.
3.5 It's written better than the rest. The pairing makes the most sense. Starts getting ridiculous 85% in, which isn't bad.
