Independent Reading Level: PreK-3 I think this book is really cute and is perfect for elementary school kids. The book is about a grape and him trying to regulate and control his emotions. He makes friends and grows throughout the story. This book is perfect for teaching kids about emotions and feelings and about how to control them. This book follows a grape with some sour emotions. The books follows this grape who shares things that frustrated it. Story follows ideas about the grapes grandparents and it’s birthday. I think that the illustrations do a great job at showing the grapes frustration and how we can tell the grape is holding grudges by it's facial expressions. I really loved this book, super funny and follows a great storyline. Would love to have this in my primary classrooms library. This book is appropriate for primary readers. In this book the main character (a green grape) struggles with turning sour after no body came to his birthday party. He then realizes that he wants to be sweet again and starts taking steps to improve. This book would be useful when teaching about the power of emotions, how to recognize them and how to respond to them. no reviews | add a review
