A young pickpocket is hired to help go look for the lost treasure of Magellan. He and friend of his older brother must first steal a golden cross from an auction house. Then they link up with the owner of the other cross and figure out the clues to find the gold in Barcelona. They don't find the gold, just a map. They are then betrayed and their competitors have the crosses and maps. In the end they find the treasure in the Philippines.
An action adventure film on the style of Tomb Raider and also based on a video game. The movie is fun watch.
