Loading... Are We Lost Yet?: Another Wallace the Brave Collection (Volume 4)by Will Henry
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. Note: I accessed a digital review copy of this book through Edelweiss. As always, this Wallace the Brave collection is excellent. I love Henry's art style, and his humor often sneaks up on me and makes me laugh right out loud, which is most appreciated these days. I also love Wallace's attitudes toward his peers--he seems to welcome everyone into all of his adventures without prejudice--and his parents' attitudes toward fun. I feel either the humor has improved, or I have gotten used to the quirky style. Also, new character alert: Rose! no reviews | add a review

"Book 4 in the wonderfully imaginative Wallace The Brave series introduces an expanded and more diverse cast, including the dynamic, fan-favorite Rose, who gives Wallace a run for his money in kickball competitions, aquatic explorations, and other adventures. Together with Rose, Spud, Amelia, and the rest of their friends, Wallace enjoys a lifestyle of mischief, exploration, (and yes, school) that will thrill middle-grade readers while reminding their parents of the carefree, nostalgic appeal of Calvin & Hobbes and other classic comics."--Provided by publisher
"School is out for the year, and the young Wallace has flung his shoes into Snug Harbor, signalling the official start of summer and kicking off a new series of childhood adventures, pranks, and discoveries. Joining Wallace are friends Spud, Amelia, and newcomer Rose. Together they prowl the forests, coves, and streets of their charming coastal town, mounting a daring rescue of Spud after a confused animal control worker mistakes him for a stinky raccoon, and trying in vain to stop Amelia from launching a pumpkin off the school roof"-- No library descriptions found. |
