The stars of Heartstopper are cast in an alternate universe sci-fi drama where Charlie Spring is a police detective traumatized by an attack on him by his last android partner and Nick is the new and improved android assigned to him. It's riffing on a video game I have never played or even heard of called Detroit: Become Human, but my ignorance did not keep me from enjoying this story because it is totally carried by Nick and Charlie being totally adorable in any universe or time period. (
