This is probably heresy, but I am not a fan of Maxwell. Maxwell says in this book that, basically, leaders are born, not made. He then proceeds to spend 200 pages talking about becoming a leader. Huh?
A fairly standard book on how to become a leader. It is well written and easy to read and understand. It is a great introductory book for anyone who hasn't already read a lot of books on leadership.
Well-structured. Like most of John Maxwell writings, need to re-read a few passages here and there. I good follow up reading to 21 Laws of Leadership.
