The continuing saga of veterinarian, crime fighting sleuth Jessica Popper. This episode finds Jessie's landlady/friend planning her own wedding and Jessie is in the wedding party. She again has commitment issues with Nick. His parents come to visit, causing trouble and Nick breaks off their engagement. The murder centers around the theatre, which Betty (landlady) drags Jessica into. You don't have a definite killer until the last few pages, which I prefer.
