Who would have guessed that a great mystery is taking place in the fridge ? Someone stole the fridge light ! And all the food is afraid of the dark ! Fortunately Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast are on the case.

Josh Funk and Brendan Kearney created a fun story with food as main characters. It is a really sweet mystery where friendship and teamwork play a very important role. The illustrations are adorable and the rhyming text entertaining.

I enjoyed it. It made me smile, especially the animal crackers scene. I found the whole thing very imaginative and I am pretty sure young readers will love it. It definitely give another perspective on what is in the fridge. ( )
