Still smarting from her latest entanglement with the Brewmerange Principle, Greta is soon stirring up new trouble, casting spells to rid the world of Alice's favorite colors. When Alice hits back, it becomes an all-out color conflict, with disastrous results! Now the two rivals must work together, to set the world to rights...

Simmons delivers another engaging narrative here, although I would have to say that this is probably the weakest of the lot. Still, young fans of Alice and Greta, who want to know what "happened next," will undoubtedly enjoy the story. Cyd Moore, whose amusing illustrations accompanied Simmons' first two Alice and Greta tales, has fun playing around with color (and the lack thereof) in this one. ( )
