Cute, soft illustrations and a nice rhythm for storytime.

Audience: pre K -2nd grades
This is a very cute bedtime counting book for young children. The wonderful illustrations by John Butler creates a warm environment for young kids and uses the traditional 'There were ten in a bed and the little one said roll over' and changes it a bit to include baby forest animals. This can be used in younger grades as a choral read as well. ( )

Adorable pictures, the toddlers and parents enjoyed joining me by saying the 'bump' as each animal rolls out of the den. ( )
