I was so excited to read this after reading the first book in this series and I wasn't disappointed. This book was full of more intrigue and secrets being found and revealed. This book picked up right where the previous one left off and answered the questions that had been left unanswered at the end of the previous book. I love this and can't wait for the next book. There's so much more to this story that continues to evolve and develop and surprise me as I keep reading and once again at the end of this book there was a huge surprising twist and I was left wondering what will happen next. Ahhh, I hate having to wait to find out what happens next.
This is a series that caught me off guard with how good it is and I would recommend it. Do pay attention to any trigger or content warnings that you've heard or read about this series though like that there's sexual content on the page, depression, violence, self-harm (scars), and heavy grief. ( )
