I Like You, written by Sandol Stoddard Warburg and illustrated by Jacqueline Chwast, is a perfectly delightful treatise on friendship and the varied and wonderful ways our friendships are made up. Originally published in 1965, I feel its simplistic yet whimsical “story” and accompanying illustrations is just as relevant today. If you have friends who do nothing but make your life more delightful, this is the perfect wee book to send to them.

"I Like You" is a high-spirited book for friends. It is literally for anyone who truly understands their best friend. I bought this book a few years ago. It is one of my coffee table books and whenever someone visits who genuinely understands me and vice versa, I have them read it. ( )

Does there really need to be an explanation for why this book is so fantastic? No. It just is. ( )
