Memorable and atmospheric film foreshadows The Matrix in some ways and makes me wonder how much the Wachowskis stole from this film. This is a science fiction film noir that not only has a unique atmosphere, but has a great cast to go along with it. Talking about the plot would be pointless; this should just be experienced, like a Raymond Chandler novel. ( )
