It's hard for me to believe that a woman who doesn't believe in ghosts would be just fine learning that demons exist and she's fated to one... and then 5 minutes later agreeing to be stuck with him for eternity. "He saved up some money before being trapped". None of this is believable. It's like the author threw dice to make decisions in the middle of a D&D game.
