This is a collection of african-american spirituals paired with beautiful paintings. I recognize some of these songs from choirs and worship teams. It would be great to use while talking about african-american history and culture.
How Sweet the Sound is a collection of songs and poems such as "Miss Mary Mack, Kum Ba Ya, and Get on Board, Little Children" that young children Pre-K to middle school age children would enjoy learning. I believe it would be useful to incorporated into a multi-cultural awarness curriculum or shared during Black History Month.
