Description

Every now and then, the plot will inch forward, ever so slightly. When that happens, it's interesting, and seems to have potential. It happens very rarely, though.

A psychologist is sent to a station orbiting a distant planet in order to discover what caused the crew to go mad. Among the best science fiction writing, Solaris is incredibly imaginative. A poetic, mystical and intimate parable that investigates the nature and reality of the human personality. Slow, but breathtakingly beautiful and loaded with real poignancy.
