Description

Fiction. Literature. When contacted by her long-lost grandmother, Lauren McKaslin wanted to reconnect—with all the warmhearted Montana McKaslins. For too long, she'd relied solely on herself and her faith. But mistrustful lawman Caleb Stone stood in the way, and his questions about her were intimidating. Was his attention more than a protective instinct? Now that she believed in family again, perhaps this was also the time to believe in true love....

Average read--a friend (MH) sent me this book in a box of books. Apparently this author has written several "series" about the McKaslin family. I am pretty sure I have read some of them but not all of them.

I felt like the plot was a rehash--similar to other plots that I've read in Love Inspired books.
I enjoyed reading a romance book that is considered inspirational. As I was reading the story I was rooting for Lauren and Caleb to realize that they both really loved each other. When Lauren comes home after being taken away by her mother, hoping to find the family she never knew she had sets the stage for a sweet and tender romance.
This was a really good, clean- cut love story. It is so clean-cut that I gave it to my teenage daughter to read. You will need a tissue at the end, for good reasons though.
Lauren goes to Montana after being contracted by her Grandmother to reconnect with her family.
