This book is old now, and some of the recommendations are out-of-date. For me, it's primarily of historical interest: Nathan Pritikin was a true pioneer of what is now known as the Whole-Foods-Plant-Based Diet. Other authors continuing on the same theme include T. Colin Campbell, the Esselstyns, Dean Ornish, & Michael Greger.
