Purchased for a holiday to the States, I lugged this hefty tome around 10 states and over 5000 miles. It proved to be quite useful in the first half of the trip, but became superceded after Colorado when we discovered an ipad app to serve a similar purpose. However, it has become a nice keepsake and a good reference for my artwork. Rather chunky and a little too comprehensive to make for easy bird identification.
