This book would be great for primary or intermediate readers
This book is written from a child's perspective about their car that they were getting rid of. Within the book she explains her experiences and adventures with her family in this car.
This would be a fun one to have in a class library for free reading time

This book is a story about a families car named Bob. Car Bob was brought into this family when the children were young and has been with them ever since. Bob was strong, fun, trustworthy, and a big part of this families memories. It was the transportation to many big events and core memories for them. It even brought babies home from the hospital. At the end of this story the sadness of needing a larger car is shown and the devastation about getting rid of Bob.

I think that this is a great book for primary students who may being dealing with change in their lives or might be able to relate to having something that special in their lives. I would love to have this as an option for students to use as a resource in the classroom.

This is a sweet story about a kid saying bye to their car. They remember fun trips and Native American events. It's great for kids in grades K-3, with nice pictures and easy words.

This book is a great memoir from the perspective of a child to their car before they sell it for a new one. Memories of road trips and Native American celebrations bring a specific but universal feeling for fond memories. I would use to model writing about family memories, personification, and letter writing(1-3rd). ( )

This book teaches readers about American Indian culture and the bittersweet relationship between this family and their car. I would say this book would be good for K-3rd grade. I could see these grades enjoying the illustrations, the words and the topic of this book.
