James Falconer goes through a lot of life events in this part of the House of Falconer series, a war, serious injury, recuperation, two failed relationships, trouble with his company, and much more. I don't know if there will be a fourth book in the series but I would definitely read it, if one was released. The House of Falconer series is a great historical fiction series and I have loved being able to watch James grow throughout the series.
Joan Walker does a great job narrating this series and I will definitely look for more books narrated by Joan in the future.
