Does not have a distinct exercise or diet plan. Mainly deals with emotions and thoughts. Overall, a very good diet book to read. Dr. Phil has a no-nonsense attitude, and I like that very much about this book! ( ) Dr. Phill does a great job of covering the bases for different types of people. I originally listened to this when I was a newly-wed, and he helped me to understand that I needed to communicate with my slender husband better about our food choices and to keep more control over what food we have in the house.
