Man, if there's ever been a perfect poem and a perfect time to hear it, it's this one and now. And it's universal. ( )

The poem is powerful one--- about perseverance, overcoming obstacles, keeping your resolve in the face of life's difficulties--- and is placed over pictures of athletes in the book. I suppose it could be good as a warm-up for a young English class, or to be used as a poetry example or to spur discussion. Content-wise? Why not just put it on a poster? ( )
