Gwinna is a story about a man and his wife who will do anything to have a child. So they make a deal with the mother of the owls, but they don’t keep up their end of the bargain. They are turned to stone and their daughter is led to the mother of the owls. She learns to fly and goes to the mountain in the distance to bring back the song of the wind. She succeeds and by doing so she saves her parents and the mother of the owls.

I liked the book at first but towards the middle it got a little too weird for my taste. Definitely an extremely fictional/fantasy book.

Could be used when studying owls. Also could be used as a just for fun book.
A story of needing others, giving, love, faith and being true.
