I was disappointed that there wasn't more focus on a feminine story structure to use in contrast to the standard monomyth. ( )

An indepth study of feminine evolution, explained through the journeys of goddesses. There is the bonding and separation with mother/daughter and also father/daughter in quests to make oneself whole. The reader is guided with myths from various cultures that explain aspects of the feminine. I found it a bit difficult to understand sometimes because the world these came from are very different from my own. There is plenty of information for pondering your own bonding and separation experiences. Possibly you will understand yourself better by reading it and see your own quests for what they are. ( )
