A young Chinese-American person finds themselves accompanying two bank robbers who use hidden fox roads to escape the cops and finds themselves along the roads. An interesting different mix of myths and found family.
I liked it but felt it needed more.
½
memorable short story set in the American midwest in the 1920s, about bank robbers and shape shifting and not belonging and then just running for the sake of it, fast as you can.
A good story set in an interesting, vivid, believable world with well-rendered, fun characters. I enjoyed reading this.
A little more disjointed and dreamy than the Singing Hills, a little more sharp and wild. Very nice.

A riff on Bonnie and Clyde and an unexpected 3rd. With a get-away mode that's out of this world.
An inter-war Bonnie & Clyde urban fantasy. Fun.

Ranked #1 for the Hugo.
