This was a return to form for LaRocca! I think short form stories is where this author really thrives. The stories were short, intense and well written, and the characters were engaging. A good mix of shock and horror, as well as pacing.

There was a story in here that was the first time in years that a horror book has gotten to me enough to actually force me to take breaks. 10/10 stars!
Pure junk. The author has the skill of an English 101 high school writer. He misuses the word "meander" and its tenses countless times. The fourth story in this book, he seems to use the phrase "After all" to lead off a sentence every other line. I don't know if this book had a copy editor, but it certainly needed one (or one with skill).
