A magic school bus book dedicated to a fun-filled adventure with Ms. Frizzle and her class within the habitats and surroundings of different insects. She takes you along with her students in the wonderful world of insects and their different make-ups and habitats.
We learn about some of the habits of bugs and arachnids- mainly that they eat each other. The focus was definitely on bugs eating other bugs, how they do this, and how they evade predators. The one thing that annoyed me was the way Wanda was freaking out about her ladybugs- they're out in nature where they belong- why worry? They're a couple of bugs! For that matter, were the ladybugs they kept following actually Wanda's?
I recommend this book to children who love creepy crawly creatures. I think boys would love to read this book.
