Mismatched: A Modern Graphic Retelling of Emma

This is super cute -- I love the art! I'm already a Jane Austen fan, so I knew what the plot was going in -- I'm not actually sure that it translates really well to this format, because we don't get a lot of character backstory. So if someone was reading it who didn't know Emma, would there be enough story and character there to interest them? I don't know. Does that matter? I'm not sure -- it's still going to be cute and queer and all about the romance.
