I was very much surprised by how easy this book was to read. In fact, I found it rather fascinating to read Chief Justice Rehnquist's views on this subject. I thought he did a nice job of giving examples that outlined his position which seemed to be more middle of the road than I expected.
Some reviews on the internet seem to think this book is controversial but I felt that the author remained fairly objective. I thought it was a nice lesson on the potential for abuse of our civil liberties during war time.
