A beautiful book, an inspiration for doing one's own nature journaling, filled with quotations in addition to Koch's own musings.
Rambles about various food crops, designed gardens, plant life, habitats, trees, flowering plants...and many other interesting tidbits.
But not very useful for practical study of plants.

This is my favourite of the books in the author's natural world series. Her illustrations, as always, are beautiful and the accompanying text is full of fun and interesting facts. A fun book to sit with and pore over on a rainy afternoon. ( )
