This book is about two best friends Ben and Molly and how they stoped being friends. They got mad at each other because they wanted a different tent. After a few days they got present for each other at their shared bithday party and agreed to buy each other's tent and become friends again.

Children have friendships that go up and down as they are trying to figure out their feelings and balance other feelings too. This is a book about Molly and Ben and during the book, they have a disagreement on what type of tent they want to buy with their allowance. After fighting for awhile, their joint birthday that they have every year happens and they make up after they exchange sleeping bags for presents. Then they decide that they both will compromise on what tent to buy. This is an amazing social moral book that teaches the reader a lesson about compromising and putting other people before yourself, which is hard for young children to do. Ages 3-5. ( )
