When Wiley encounters the Hairy Man in the swamp one day. Clever Wiley manages to trick the mean ogre the first time--but Wiley's mama, who knows magic, tells him that he has to fool the Hairy Man twice more if the creature is to stay away for good. I really like the artwork for this book. It was colored sketching, but the story wasn't very appealing. ( )

Wiley dad has been captured by the hairyman and has never been seen again. He wants to go out into the swamp, but his mother is afraid to let him go because she thinks he would be captured also. Wiley goes out and was captured by the man, luckily he was able to escape. His mother knows magic and told him in order for the man to stay away he has to say a certain thing. The only thing is, the man also has tricks that he can use against theirs. ( )
