I read this book as a teenager and really enjoyed it. The stories are Aesop's Fables for today's children. These stories contain morals and the tales are updated to connect to the real world of today.
This collection offers a wide array of different types of writing, including Fiction, Non-fiction, Action, Mystery, Fantasy, Fables, and Poems. It is a great book to use during a read-aloud. This collection of writing offers children an opportunity to hear and think about virtue in a variety of contexts.
