This is a very sweet book about a little old lady and her collection of hats. She has a different hat for every occasion. She has so many hats that she decides she needs to do something useful with them. She decides on giving her very favorite beautiful hat away to raise money for charity. This money is used to plant beautiful flowers. Children love this story, because it teaches the lesson of giving in order to make the world a better place. The pictures are very pretty in this book and I enjoyed it a lot.
