Nice romance - though despite one MC being a vampire, and both of them male, it's a very _standard_ sort of romance. Playboy falls for... Not quite low self esteem, but someone who has always been looked down on and has a hard time believing in the falling-for. Rich and complex characters, though; there are reasons for their attitudes and behaviors, not just author fiat. One detailed sex scene, one less detailed, several makeouts. Orphan adopted into powerful, wealthy family on his own merits as well as because the son of the family fell for him. And a little more info on vampire society and history. The VSP are thoroughly evaded, in this one - no problems at all, because they don't get informed until after the fact. The worst villains show more here are mean girls trying to nab the playboy vampire - small potatoes, mostly. Also this makes me want to reread the previous books (as usual with AJ Sherwood).
Reread - Sweet. Kind of random, but I really like both Ian and Andre and it's neat how they got together. I liked the link back to the other three books - but I gotta say, there's something going on. Mates are so utterly rare and suddenly five are found in close proximity, both space and time? Noel, Chase, Max, Jin, Dante, and now Ian. I hope there'll be more in this world.
