The World Challenge

OK this is a really good one too, but fading into history fast. This is a manifesto for Europeans to wake up and see that US multinationals were buying up companies in their countries and lobbying Brussels to unify markets so they could make even more money. This guy was affiliated with my college at a time when it was providing leadership in the world and he was a lone Frenchman over here figuring out how things worked. He also went on to found a leading French weekly devoted to business and economics at a time when that wasn't done. This book represents an early siren call to Europe to Unify and create their own way of doing things before it was too late.
