Another Hagen romance - he's not directly involved this time, just (accidentally) set things up (and he may regret that...). Dane (the agent and professional gambler) and Jenny (who lost her home to her father's compulsive gambling...) run into each other (more or less literally), are immediately attracted but aware of the difficulties - they do some heavy making out, but resist going further for quite a while. The obstacles dissolve very quickly; the intrigue plotline and the romance twine nicely. And Dane's secret is finally revealed...to Jenny, and others. Some of the climax(es) turn on the fine points of poker, though it doesn't really require you to know much to figure out what's going on. Not bad, not wonderful, worth reading show more (good solid characters, as well as plot). show less
