I bought this book for the quilt shown on the cover (but I still haven't made one using this pattern). Some of the other patterns are also interesting, but the focus on using 5" sample squares leads to some very contrived construction methods and unnecessary waste of fabric. I have never been interested in buying sample packs containing small pieces of fabric, but this seems like it would be a good resource for those who do.
